ICU Veterinary Technician
VCA Capital Area Veterinary and Specialty (CAVES) is a multi-doctor, 24-hour emergency/specialty practice in Concord, New Hampshire and serving the surrounding Merrimack County area. We offer a full complement of specialty services, ensuring that we're able to provide our clients and patients with the highest quality and most comprehensive advanced veterinary care available anywhere. Our Specialty Departments include: Behavior, Dermatology, Emergency/Critical Care, Ophthalmology, and Surgery. Each of our specialty departments utilizes advanced technology to provide state-of-the-art diagnostics and advanced treatments and therapies to help our patients get well.
Our emergency department is open 24 hours providing critical and emergency treatment to our patients, utilizing a variety equipment and tools:
Blood transfusion therapy
Full digital radiography
Gorgeous building with open concept
VCA CAVES is seeking an experienced Credentialed Veterinary Technician for our overnight 6pm
Joining the VCA CAVES team is a great opportunity to utilize your skills, work with a tight-knit dynamic crew, and expand your knowledge. At VCA CAVES, we focus on continuing education and training and support our team members as they build a career in veterinary medicine. We offer late night and weekend shift differentials.
The ideal candidate is a team player who is a friendly, dependable, emotionally intelligent, a positive multi-tasker with excellent communication and client service skills. 1 to 2 years' experience in general practice or 6 months-1 year in fast-paced emergency is preferred and prior experience in animal husbandry and restraint is a requirement for these positions at VCA CAVES. We also welcome CVT students with a minimum 3-6 month clinical experience.
