Overnight Housekeeper

This position must be committed to making every experience memorable all while having fun and relishing the incredible atmosphere of the resort.The housekeeping staff is responsible for ensuring that guests have a clean and pleasant environment during their stay. The candidate must work to clean various sections of the resort, including guest rooms, restrooms, lobby areas, and hallways. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, is able to work independently while meeting Forbes and AAA standards, and constantly striving to exceed guests' expectations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:(The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all-inclusive for this position.)* Clean the Spa, restrooms, and all public areas. * Maintain 5-star standards. * Clean Spa, guest areas, hallways, lobbies, lounges, and restrooms. * Carry items and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts. * Replenish & clean public areas with all toiletries. * Clean rugs and carpets, dust furniture, and sweep and mop floors using vacuum cleaners, brooms, and mops. * Report any mechanical failures to the manager or engineering departments. * Take all trash to designated areas. * Report to work on time with a clean uniform, name tag, and maintain appearance according to Nemacolin Policies and Standards. * Anticipate needs of other departments and act on them. * Other job duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:* Lift up to 30 pounds. * Must be 18 or older. * Must be flexible in scheduling- willing to work holidays, nights, and weekends. * Must be task and detail-oriented, energetic, and able to follow specific directions and meet high physical demands. Must be able to communicate effectively and work as a team member. * Be flexible to meet changing and/or multiple demands while staying calm under stress. * Be friendly, eager to learn, and understand the importance of doing a good job. * Be able to stand for long periods of time. * Overtime as needed.
