PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Overnight Engineer will be responsible for being the Engineer on duty during the overnight along with some security officer responsibilities. They will perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Carry equipment (e.g., tools, radio). Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment. Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed. Record information for unfinished calls prior to shift change. Apply paint, stain and other finishes to property walls, ceilings, stripping and fixing carpets, and furniture using brushes, spray guns, or rollers.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

EXPERIENCE: Previous experience in Engineering. Preferred experience in Hotels

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor.

• Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork.

• Results oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Primary schedule will be Overnight but has the ability to work a flexible schedule: weekends, holidays, AM, PM, overnight and overtime when needed.
