Overnight Dozer Operator - Vega TX

Wages starting at $23.00/hr.

Rogers Group is seeking candidates to fill a position as a Dozer Operator in Vega Texas. The successful candidate for this position will be an experienced Dozer Operator, and they must have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

Responsibilities and requirements of the position include but are not limited to:

• Operate a dozer and other heavy or grading equipment

• Ability to operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency and in challenging and unique terrain environments.

• Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.

• Perform daily pre-and post- inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.

• Effective communication skills applicable to position.

• Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.

• Additional job duties assigned by management as needed.

Qualifications Include:

• Must be able to hear and understand commands from supervisors, warnings from fellow workers, and alarms on equipment.

• Ability to crawl and climb on, over, under and inside construction equipment.

• Lift and carry objects and materials of various weights up to 100 pounds.

• Self-motivated individual - must be able to perform required duties independently, without constant supervision.

• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours as needed.

• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
