Consistently and genuinely demonstrates the STARS principles of Service, Teamwork, Action, Reputation and Success in all activities and interactions.
Monitors security systems including the emergency call system and responds accordingly.
Makes timely and consistent rounds of the community throughout the shift by walking the community to ensure outside doors are secure, outside lighting is operational, associates are alert and no unusual occurrences.
Answers internal and external telephone calls.
Responds appropriately to emergencies, according to policies and procedures.
Greets, interacts with and directs residents, family members, guests, and vendors in a professional, friendly and courteous manner.
Maintains a clean and friendly environment in and around the front entrance, lobby and work station.
Participates and attends all in-service training and education programs as scheduled.
With our residents in mind, the right candidate will have:
High school diploma or equivalent certificate.
Computer literacy sufficient to do data entry.
Knowledge of office equipment operations.
Ability to self-manage work.
Ability to remain alert on nightshift.
Ability to respond appropriately and with sound judgment during emergency situations.
Positive attitude, enthusiasm and energy.
Strong customer orientation to older adults.
Ability to effectively communicate in English.
