  • Bakes the majority of a cafe's fresh bread and pastries nightly.

  • Ensures that all Panera products are prepared according to Panera's standards.

  • Works efficiently to meet speed of service deadlines.

  • Meets the highest standards and consistency in food preparation, sanitation and safety.

  • Primarily works alone with minimal supervision.

  • Work as a team with Management and fellow Associates.

  • Incorporate the concept essence and cultural values into daily operation of the bakery-cafe.

  • Show respect for the equipment and facility by adhering to cleaning and proper operation.


  • Baking experience preferred

  • Able to lift 50 pounds

  • Able to work 3rd/overnight shifts

  • Travel up to 35 miles to a cafe or 70 miles round trip may be required.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Spurwink is pening a new 16 bed residential treatment facility in our Greater Portland Program and is looking for a full time Unit Director. The program provides a treatment intensive environment for children and adolescents diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and/or developmental disabilities. The unit director works as part of a treatment team made up of professionals with years of clinical experience to design and implement evidenced-based interventions. This fun and challenging job is best suited for individuals who crave a fast pace, dynamic environment. Duties: Unit Director are responsible for the administrative oversight of our community based residential treatment unit. Overseeing of day-to-day programmatic functions; and working collaboratively with the Program Director, Associate Program Director, clinical team, Unit Supervisors, and staff as part of an integrated administrative team providing oversight to the program. The unit director will be responsible for managing staffing and scheduling. Strong communication skills are necessary as the unit director will have frequent contact with families, guardians and other treatment team members. The unit director will work to ensure all documentation is accurate and timely, and licensing expectations are met. The unit director will coach and train staff, and work to provide a positive milieu environment. Strong team and group management skills are essential, as part of the unit director's role includes leading meetings and activities based programs for both staff and residents. Qualifications: Duties require knowledge equivalent to completion of a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and 3 experience.
