Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products, operating out of 29 branches throughout the United States. We primarily sell wood-based products for our customers to make beautiful, nature-inspired goods that accent architectural designs for home and business.
Position: We are growing! We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative, responsible for the support and growth of established customers as well as developing new customer relationships across all our Industrial product lines including hardwood lumber, veneer, plywood, millwork, and cabinetry.
Whats in it for you:
Compensation: After an introductory period which includes a salary guarantee, the compensation for this position is entirely commission based, with a draw against future commissions. We estimate an annual compensation between $80,000 and $135,000+.

Your Day-to-Day: to excel in this role, you will need to...
Use a company vehicle to call on established and prospective customers.
Promote our product line to current customers in the region through a focus on customer service and using consultative selling practices.
Grow sales by deepening and expanding our customer/partner relationship.
Understand and communicate the needs of customers with the branch to optimize our product portfolio and provide responsiveness to our accounts.
Collaborate with inside sales staff to ensure a coordinated and synchronized sales effort.
Accompany vendors representatives as needed, calling on customer accounts to find solutions that address both vendor and customer concerns.

You have a minimum of 2-4 years sales experience, ideally in an outside sales or territory sales role, and ideally in the building products industry.
You can travel as needed throughout the territory and know how to effectively manage your time.
Knowledge of DMSI/Agility software a plus.
As you will be driving a company vehicle, we consider this a Safety Sensitive position, subject to routine drug screening.
