Overview
SUMMARY
Facilitates the sale of products produced by R.K. Hall, LLC to customers, as described.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Meets and or/communicates with customers and potential customers to facilitate sales of aggregates and / or hot mix asphalt.
Negotiates sales agreements with customers.
Submits material bids.
Examines performance requirements, delivery schedules, and estimates of costs of material.
Coordinates with Transportation Department to facilitate deliveries.
Acts as liaison between company and customers, and maintains accounts receivable contacts.
Must be knowledgeable of computer operations and systems pertaining to sales.
Must be knowledgeable of legal requirements.
May be required to drive. Should employee be required to drive company vehicle, employee is required to meet RK Hall Driver Qualification Standards.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Strong Computer skills are required.
Experience in a related role is desired but not required.
Planning/organization-prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently.
Quality control-demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality and applies feedback to improve performance.
Quantity-meets productivity standards and completes work in a timely manner.
Adaptability-adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
Dependability-is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.
Teamwork-works smoothly and effectively as part of a team.
RK Hall, LLC conducts post-conditional offer background check, and pre-employment drug testing.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Skill in operating a personal computer, various printers, fax machine and other office equipment are necessary.
Skill in Microsoft Office Products, specifically Excel.
