Ferguson is seeking a shown Outside Sales Representative in Oregon & SW Washington working with our Plant Division to fill an immediate need with growing market opportunities. Job Function and Responsibilities
Work with the Plant Division in Oregon & SW Washington collaborating with local teams to provide project quotation and proposals.
Develop and manage relationships with vendors and assigned customer base, including key accounts.
Be part of the problem-solving process, have conversations regarding changing market conditions with vendors & customers.
Supervise sales trends and product knowledge to develop market specific pricing from Pre-Bid to Post Bid.
Continually improve sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image in the field
Ability to read and understand construction documents including project specifications, drawings, and change orders
Work with other branch personnel to ensure customer happiness from the order to the delivery and beyond
Work with Pre-bid and Post-bid teams to ensure accurate scope coverage for customers
Own your projects from start to finish with collaboration of specific team members
Ability to negotiate with vendors and Manufactures
5+ years industry related sales experience is required
A successful associate will be results oriented, self-motivated, able to complete tasks in a timely manner, build relationships and enjoy a team environment
Strong technical background and experience in water and / or wastewater industry preferred
Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
Problem solving, leadership and listening skills
General digital literacy
Travel required with overnight trips
Compensation for this role includes an annual base salary plus sales commission.
