OVERVIEW:

An international meat distributor is currently seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to expand its business in the U.S. The Sales Representative will work in an account management and business development capacity to promote company products, increase brand awareness, and drive sales revenue. The qualified candidate will have sales experience in the meat industry.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Promoting products to new and existing customers to generate sales and provide excellent customer service.

Establishing, developing, and maintaining business relationships with customers such as grocery stores and specialty food stores to generate new business.

Making telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to customers.

Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of products and developing effective presentations.

Researching and sourcing for developing prospective customers.

Supporting existing customers to develop clear and effective product displays/presentations on shelves to consumers.

Cultivating relationships with wholesalers and distributors to share market and customer information.

Monitoring the delivery of orders on schedule to the agreed terms.

Participating in sales meetings and submitting reports on sales activities, progress, and metrics.

Maintaining accurate and updated records for leads and customers in the company's system.

Supporting customers after initial sales to ensure satisfaction and realize opportunities for further sales.

Performing other duties as requested by Management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Sales experience in the meat industry required.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.

Excellent communication and business development skills.

Bilingual in Japanese is a significant plus.

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
