Average Target Compensation of $105,000 + Uncapped Incentives

  • Develops and presents sales presentations/proposals on products and services that meet customers' needs.

  • Accurately completes all necessary paperwork to support sales activities in a manner consistent with quality control guidelines, including but not limited to the following: dispositioning, entering sales orders, and reporting on sales.

  • Supports team and team goals by actively participating in all sales meetings and training programs as assigned.

  • Achieves monthly sales quotas in high-speed data, mobile, landline phone, and video sales.

  • Completes all administrative tasks related to products sold in accordance with department practice, policies, and procedures.

  • Well-informed about our competitors' activities in assigned territory; informs manager of any changing competitive pricing programs, marketing directives, or door-to-door sales tactics.

  • Attends and successfully completes training programs.

  • Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.


Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

  • Engaging interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to listen, formulate needs-based sales strategies, and articulate pitches to sell products and services.

  • A passion to succeed and a strong personal drive to sell to prospective customers.

  • Ability to travel (including during inclement weather) to and from assigned territories and company facilities using a reliable personal vehicle.

  • Familiarity with computer operating systems and software applications as well as consumer and commercial communication devices (e.g., PDAs, smartphones, routers, modems, set-top converters, and wireless devices).

  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as business needs dictate to maximize prospective customer contact.

  • A valid driver's license, car insurance, a satisfactory driving record, and the use of a reliable personal vehicle.

  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.

Required Education

High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.


Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

  • Success in a previous sales position, prospecting, or cold calling; direct sales experience is preferred but not required.

  • Knowledge of cable or telecommunications services, with an emphasis on data networking fundamentals and the ability to educate consumers on related products and services as needed.

Preferred Related Work Experience and Number of Years

2+ years sales or relevant work experience


  • Spends approximately 90% of the time in an outside environment for extended periods in any season, with potential exposure to inclement weather.

  • Minimal time in an office environment.

  • Exposure to moderate noise levels.

Comunale can work in virtually every market sector and facility type.</p><p>Job Title: Sprinkler Outside Sales Representative<br>The primary function of this role is to professionally represent the Company with respect to the promotion and sale of fire sprinkler offerings to various General Contractor customers and end users within an assigned territory. This will also include estimating and quoting fire sprinkler systems for commercial, institutional and industrial facilities in the ability to build new business associations / relationships by developing a positive ongoing relationship with customers. Will establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of new construction and service work by scheduling sales calls, follow up with leads, and utilize marketing strategies. Must be able to build new business associates / relationships and grow the sprinkler service business.<br>This job requires the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment with a focus towards sales, prospecting for new clients, and customer service. It will require travel to potential/existing customer sites.<br>Essential Duties / Responsibilities:<br>Perform basic troubleshooting of wet based fire systems, and describe them to owners and service managers for repairs.</p><p>Responsible for the identification, selection, and development of new and existing customer accounts.<br>Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communication with customers, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services at all times.<br>Ensure contractual obligations are met and actively participate in quickly resolving customer problems.<br>Responsible for getting quotes to the customers for service and any follow-up impairments.<br>Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of fire protection contracts by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads and utilizing outline marketing strategies.<br>Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company offerings.<br>Close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objective.<br>Familiar with reading blueprints, understanding current NFPA 13, 14 and 20 standards and local codes.<br>Develop a positive ongoing relationship with existing and new customers, general contractors and end users.<br>Ability to build new business associations/relationships and grow the fire protection business.<br>Work with other branch personnel to ensure great customer service from the order to the delivery and beyond.<br>Perform customer surveys as required/requested.<br>Develop and maintain vendor relations.<br>Obtain all licensing required to perform job function, as applicable.<br>Obtain manufacturers' certifications required to perform job function, as applicable<br>Complete proper scheduling and execution of monthly calls as assigned by management.<br>Execute all Company processes and complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.<br>Continually enhance sales skills and product knowledge in order to promote a professional image in the field.<br>Read architectural and mechanical drawings and determine proper sprinkler locations for new construction and remodel projects<br>Travel to customer and job sites as required</p><p>Qualifications:<br>To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
