Outside Sales Representative
We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to manage our Brooklyn/Manhattan territory.
Main Duties:
- Sales Generation: Increase showroom sales by presenting and selling our products and services to design professionals within the territory.
- Client Calls: Make 10-15 sales calls weekly, including both current clients and cold calls. A sales call involves presenting new products and discussing items relevant to current projects.
- Client Library Maintenance: Conduct 5-10 "bird calls" each week to keep client libraries updated.
- Sales Targets: Be responsible for meeting individual sales goals.
- New Client Acquisition: Develop new client relationships.
- Manufacturer Visits: Coordinate all manufacturer visits and provide summaries during weekly team meetings.
- Project Tracking: Identify and report on "Top 10 Projects" during weekly meetings.
- CRM Documentation: Maintain clear and precise notes in the CRM for all weekly meetings.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 3 years of sales experience in high-end furnishings and textiles.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the furniture industry is beneficial.
- Sales Record: Proven and verifiable track record of sales success, including expanding customer base and growing sales.
