Plumbers Supply Co, a family owned company in business for over 101 years, is currently hiring an Outside Sales Representative to join our Evansville Sales Team.

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for maximizing & growing revenue and profits by helping our customers and building successful relationships.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Close & Grow sales through professional communication with existing and potential clients.

  • Create and execute a sales plan using a proven Plumbers Supply sales method.

  • Build relationships by learning the value of relationships.

  • Articulate Plumbers Supply Co.'s value proposition within customer business situation. Requires knowledge of customer's needs so able to offer strategies of how Plumbers Supply Co. can help the client to grow their business.

  • Identify and resolve customer concerns; recommending a course of action to alleviate these concerns in the future.

  • Expand market awareness of the products and our industry experience by communicating features and benefits of our products effectively.

  • Drive the account planning process to define and track progress toward revenue, mix and profit objectives.

  • Maintain records of customer communications and contact information as required.

  • Attend and participate in trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.

  • Work with team in creating quotes, placing and fulfilling orders, and return processing.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED required (Bachelor's Degree Preferred)

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

  • Strong Ability to Persuade

  • Plumbing product knowledge preferred

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office especially in Excel & Outlook

  • Excellent Time Management Skills

  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

  • Highly Motivated/Competitive - driven to excel

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills

  • Ability to think quickly and learn quickly in a very fast-paced, self-directed customer service environment.
