Position Summary:
As a key member of our Sales team, you will coordinate and provide bidding, evaluation, review, administration, and compliance activities for contracts. Work under limited supervision. Must be able to draft, red-line, issue and administer procurement process with limited assistance. Responsible for working within project deadlines.
What you will do:
· Responsible for submitting a completed bid to an existing or prospective client, on time and within budget and ensure that ARBOC has given itself the best possible chance of success.
· Identify prospective and repeat customers within the assigned region for new bus sales.
· Develop and maintain relationship with key customer decision makers/influencers.
· Conduct sales visits and regular effective communications with customers in assigned region to execute strategic objective with the customer.
· Resolve customer complaints regarding sales.
· Review operational records and industry trends to project sales Lead all day-to-day aspects of Dealer support in the Governmental Bid Procurement process.
· Review bid specifications and provide to the dealer written approved equals.
· Receive and review all order forms and start the Sales order flow process.
· Enter new orders into operating system.
· Organize Pre-build and post-build meetings.
· Hold order communication meetings with the production, purchasing and engineering teams.
· Answer production and QC issues.
· Prepare floorplans specific to customer requests.
· Maintain dealer log, quote order log & forecast documents.
· Collaborate with Vendors on quotes, special options and pricing. Source relevant vendors for production information and pricing for bids and orders.
· Set and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
· Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
· Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.
· Keep up to date on all ARBOC products.
· Travel as needed, be responsible for efficient/appropriate travel itinerary planning, prompt and frequent contact reports.
· Manage data for which you are responsible to ensure the availability, integrity, confidentiality and security of that data.
· Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements
Skills and Experience:
· A combination of education and experience will be considered.
· Excellent verbal and written communication
· Excellent self-manager, with demonstrated ability to succeed as part of a team.
· Responsive and well organized with experience building and maintaining customer relationships.
· Knowledge of bus manufacturing or transit industry would be considered an asset.
Travel 10-50%.
