Description:

Projects are primarily fiber to the home projects involving the placement (either aerial or buried) of fiber optic cables and associated construction units in support of the utilization of that cable. Our candidate will be out in the field doing measurement/staking marking mileage and doing GPS mapping. Provide technical support for construction efforts including interpretation of as-staked information, and resolution of onsite conflicts. daily tasks are accomplished by following basic procedures and instructions, although some interpretation or analysis is necessary.

This role will be "travel" based around Iowa and Nebraska, so this candidate would have to be open to being on the road m-f but home on the weekends.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

1. Experience in outside plant fiber-optics plus if this include fiber optic design and staking.

2)1 year of experience creating field data reports that summarize the results of surveying for construction crews and engineers, preferred.

3)Ability to read fiber plans specs etc.
