Summary
Information and Technology Services (ITS) at the University of Michigan has an exciting opportunity for an Outside Plant Project Engineer.
This position is responsible for the completion of assigned complex or long-term engineering projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines utilizing expert technical proficiency in IT Infrastructure technologies. Contributes to support and analysis work that has a broad impact on the organization.
Collaborates with team members and provides consultation to other technical teams to develop, design, implement, and continuously improve IT Infrastructure systems. Engages in project implementation and problem resolution, including troubleshooting of IT Infrastructure, installation and upgrades of products and systems, ensuring integrity and appropriate use of technologies. Participates in the strategic planning and setting of technical direction for the department.
