OUTSIDE GROWER RELATIONS MANAGER

LOCATION: NW Nevada Growing Region

This position serves as a liaison between contracted growers and the Grimmway Sales, Production and Grower Accounting departments. Grimmway is one of the largest carrot and organic vegetable grower/packer/shipper in the world! What will set you apart:

• Previous carrot growing experience.
• Four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent field experience.
• Knowledge of scheduling and executing crop inputs including, but not limited to, planting, cultivation, fertilization, irrigation, harvesting and production.
• Ability to forecast harvest estimates and quality.

Additional Info

What you will need:

• Effective communication skills with all levels of staff.
• Good organization skills and be self-motivated.
• Able to travel to all growing areas on a regular basis, as required.
• A valid driver's license with a clean DMV driving record.
• Pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen, physical and functional capacity evaluation.
