Outreach Systems Coordinator / Human Services

OUTREACH SYSTEMS COORDINATOR (Human Services) - Performs tasks including, but not limited to the following: coordinating countywide response to homelessness and housing insecurity in Beaufort County in compliance with federal, state and local requirements: engaging residents experiencing homelessness by building relationships and coordinating support and activities that foster growth, independence, and full participation in society: developing a clear performance measurement system that can be documented, implemented, and measured based on HMIS and housing needs assessment reports; researching and re-housing methods and national best practices and developing recommendations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

•    Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Services, Sociology, Psychology, Counseling, or related field

•    Three (3) years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

•    Ability to demonstrate skills and experience to meet the needs of Beaufort County residents experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity

•    Ability to forge a working relationship with community partners and stakeholders

•    Ability to present oral and written information clearly and accurately

•    Ability to perform tasks with limited supervision or assistance

•    Ability to work independently or as part of a team

•    Strong outreach, project and time management skills

•    Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license

•    Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred

All applicants tentatively selected for a position with Beaufort County Council will be required to submit to urinalysis to screen for the illegal use of drugs and to a background check prior to appointment.
