JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Institute for Computational and Data Sciences (ICDS) at Penn State is seeking an Outreach and Marketing Strategist to lead the development and implementation of the ICDS communications, engagement, marketing, and outreach strategies that include a variety of methods such as web, email, social media, news media, and special events.

This position reports to the Director of Partnerships and Technology-based Research Projects. The Outreach and Marketing Strategist position has the potential to be performed fully remote or as a hybrid of remote and on-site work.

As the Outreach and Marketing Strategist, some of your responsibilities include the following:

  • Manage and perform ongoing analysis of collected data related to audiences, conversion communities, and channels.

  • Lead the iterative process that develops the ICDS communications, engagement, marketing, and outreach strategies.

  • Lead the development of marketing, outreach, and communications products.

  • Partner on specific conversion community relationship management.

Typical Education and Experience Requirements:

  • A related Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The successful candidate will possess relevant experience in positions with increasing levels of responsibility. The individual will be a strategic thinker with good planning skills and an ability to translate those plans into action. They will be an excellent communicator and collaborator.

The pay range for this position, including all possible grades is:

$61,800.00 - $89,600.00
