Schedule:
36 hours a week working three 12-hour shifts from 5:00am-5:00pm
Rotational on-call weekends & holidays required

Come join our Cardiology Team! This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who enjoy the field of cardiology, while working in a supportive environment alongside the top Cardiologists!
In this role, you will be cross-trained to support Cardiac Imaging, Electrophysiology and Interventional Cardiology patients. You will be joining a collaborative team of Nurses and Providers to complete rounding on hospitalized patients that are transitioning to outpatient care. With an average of 30 patients each day, this role offers a dynamic environment with a mix of both inpatient and outpatient aspects, where you can utilize your cardiac and/or critical care experience without being in bedside nursing.
A typical day includes: Completing hospital rounds with the Cardiology team ensuring both the inpatient and the outpatient care plans are completed, obtain consent forms, work on inpatient and outpatient orders and complete discharge orders and follow-up on appointments. Additionally, this role is responsible for ensuring all cardiac patient needs are met and all labs have progressed in the system without delay.
Your orientation plan would include hands-on training with a seasoned team to provide a structured approach to onboarding that would ensure you are well-prepared to excel in your role.

This position provides inpatient nursing care to patients and families along the health-illness continuum while collaborating with the rounding physician and associated health care team. The RN is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the state statutes. The RN delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
