Outpatient - Mental Health Therapist

Nexus-Gerard Family Healing Outpatient services, has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Outpatient Therapist position!

NEW Starting Pay - $66,750 for Clinical Trainees AND $70,088 for Licensed Therapists

In this role, you will provide assessment and treatment services to individuals, families and groups. Our program is located on a beautiful 12-acre campus in Austin, Minnesota, which once served as the Hormel Estate. Our team of licensed therapists at Nexus-Gerard Family Healing are specially trained in trauma and stress. We are committed to helping family stay together, heal, grow, and move forward. We offer outpatient therapy services in our offices in Austin, MN and Albert Lea, MN. We also offer outpatient therapy services to schools within Mower County.

Our evidence-based practices include:

• Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

• EMDR

• Art Therapy

• Play Therapy

• Family Therapy

Responsibilities:

• Provide therapeutic interventions to youth and families

• Complete Diagnostic Assessments

• Develop and implement Treatment Plans

• Communicate with legal systems, schools and social service agencies and provide court testimony when needed

• Coordination of referrals

• Ensure compliance with governing agency and Nexus reporting requirements.

• Maintain the clinical record according to site policy.

• Produce informal and formal reports for parents, social workers, courts, etc.

• Remain current on all required training and certifications.

• Participation in clinical supervision and team case consultation meetings

Schedule & Pay:

• Full time

• Pay Range: Starting at $66,750 per year for clinical trainees AND $70,088 per year for licensed therapists

• Relocation bonus of $5000

Qualifications:

• Minimum of Master's or other graduate degree in one of the following behavioral sciences:

• human services

• psychology

• family therapy

• social work

• counseling

• or related field

• Must be on track to complete licensure for a specific related discipline

• Valid driver's license

Nice to Have:

• Experience in related community-based work with youth, adults, and/or families

• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply

• LPCC, LICSW, LMFT
