As a Mental Health Practitioner- Clinical Trainee at Fraser, you hold a Master's Degree in a mental health discipline and are on a clinical licensure track.

Caseloads options include outpatient therapy services working with children, families, and young adults. There are also caseloads available working with adult clients ages 18+. Some caseloads include in-home or in-school services, primarily serving preschool-aged children with autism and/or mental health diagnosis, including:

  • Implementing personalized, responsive client treatment plans

  • Conduct individual, family, and group therapy and skills training

  • Perform crisis interventions

  • Welcome new clients and conduct diagnostic assessments

  • Collaborate and communicate with parents, county workers, social workers, probation officers, and other key individuals in the client's life

  • Positively affect change in client's lives in the areas of problem-solving, decision making, communication, social skills, and behavior interventions

  • Provide work direction and leadership to staff in day treatment classrooms

  • Documentation

  • Full time, standard business hours


  • Completed Master's degree and on track toward independent clinical licensure (LPCC, LMFT, LICSW)

  • Social Workers - must have a graduate-level license (LGSW)

  • Previous experience working with preschool-aged children or adolescents, preferably in a clinical setting

  • Ability to transport yourself in reasonable timing from one location to another for training, coverage, etc.

  • Comfortable working in multiple settings and environments; Fraser provides services to a diverse population of clients and families

The Wilder Foundation School-Based Mental Health Program is recruiting a Mental Health Professional (LICSW, LMFT or LPCC) or Mental Health Practitioner working towards MH licensure (supervision towards licensure will be provided) to provide diagnostic assessments, individual and family therapy in a school-based setting, with occasional home-based treatment for children and their families. Clients served are from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds: the caseload of students at these sites will primarily be students and families of African descent. The ideal candidate should have a passion for working with children/youth and their families, and will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of mental health providers working to increase children and families' sense of hope, resilience and well-being. We are part of a Rule 29 Clinic and candidates must maintain clinical, billing and other required documentation per agency guidelines. The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, with some evenings.
