The Joseph J. Peter's Institute, a nationally recognized provider serving survivors of sexual abuse and trauma, is seeking a fee-for-service Clinician to join its Survivor Services program. Compensation is $35 to $50 per hour based on qualifications and credentials. This candidate must be committed to providing the highest quality clinical services to participants in JJP's programs. This position reports to the program coordinator.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative techniques to serve the clients of JJPI more effectively.

  • Maintain a full caseload and work on program development to support and improve the financial health of the agency

  • Develop and maintain clinical utilization at 60%.

  • Attend clinical meetings and scheduled group consultation.

  • Provide supervisors with audio or videotaped samples of sessions as required.

  • Ensure the provision of comprehensive case management services to clients at 20% case management utilization.

  • Maintain clinical records in accordance with agency, managed care, and licensing requirements.

  • Seek out appropriate professional training.

  • Assist in developing training programs for other staff.

  • Assist in developing and implementing new, innovative treatment strategies.

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with other agencies.

  • Must complete initial treatment plan review within the first two visits of client contract.

  • Complete updated treatment/resiliency plans every 15th session or 90 days.

  • Complete clinical progress notes within 24 hours of a session.

  • Complete case management progress notes within 24 hours of activity.

  • Follow up appropriately with clients who have missed a session and continue appropriate outreach

  • Complete discharge summary within 48 hours of termination date.

  • Complete and submit utilization reports (case management and clinical hours) at the end of each week.

  • Make initial contact with client within five working days of assignment.

  • Understand the payment source of each client.

  • Work effectively with other staff and contribute to the development of a team approach to treatment.

  • Understand and communicate with other programs within the agency and work to foster a collaborative team approach across all programs.

  • Understand the impact of the caseload requirements on the financial performance of the agency.

  • Work with other staff to develop new treatment programs to promote the financial performance of the agency.

  • Promote the agency in interactions with other agencies and professionals.

  • Must maintain own liability insurance.

Skills:

  • Works effectively with other staff and contributes to the team approach of treatment.

  • Ability to meet timelines.

  • Ability to communicate in writing and orally.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, word processing, spreadsheets and database entry

Experience:

  • Two years employment experience, which can include internship/practicum experience.

Education Requirement:

  • A Master's Degree in a field related to clinical work from an accredited program

Salary:

  • Based on education and experience.

Peters Institute, a nationally recognized provider serving adult perpetrators and survivors of sexual abuse, seeks fee for service contractors, fluent in Spanish. Compensation is $35 to $50 per hour based on qualifications and credentials. There are three programs within SRP: 1) Adolescents with sexual behavioral problems, 2) Adult Sexual Offenders and 3) Batterers of intimate partner violence. Applicants can apply to any or all of the three programs. Preference awarded to individuals with clinical experience/training in the Duluth model of Batterers' intervention services and/or evidenced based sexual offender services (both adolescent and adult). This position reports to the program coordinator. Responsibilities: * Maintain the highest quality clinical services to all clients of JJPI * Conduct comprehensive bio-psychosexual evaluations for adult participants referred to the adult and adolescent outpatient program. * Interview participants and other parties involved in a participant's care. * Administer psychometric measures and interpret results. * Write comprehensive evaluation reports in a timely fashion * Collaborate with a supervising psychologist on determining DSM-5 diagnoses * Attend clinical meetings and scheduled supervision * Maintain clinical records in accordance with agency, managed care, and licensing requirements. * Conduct individual and/or group therapy sessions for adult and adolescent participants * Develop and maintain professional relationships with other agencies. * Maintain a caseload of participants. * Make initial contact with participant within five working days of assignment. * Complete an initial treatment/resiliency plan within the first two visits of participant contact. * Complete updated treatment/resiliency plans every 15th session or 90 days. * Complete clinical progress notes within 24 hours of a session. * Complete case management progress notes within 24 hours of activity. * Follow up appropriately with clients who have missed a session and continue appropriate outreach * Complete discharge summary within 48 hours of termination date. * Complete and submit utilization reports (case management and clinical hours) at the end of each week * Complete required court reports for court-involved clients * Maintain compliance with guidelines and requirements of various funders. * Work effectively with other staff and contribute to the development of a team approach to treatment. * Understand and communicate with other programs within the agency and work to foster a collaborative team approach across all programs. * Understand the impact of the caseload requirements on the financial performance of the agency. * Work with other staff to develop new treatment programs to promote the financial performance of the agency. * Promote the agency in interactions with other agencies and professionals. * Must maintain own liability insurance Skills: * Excellent interpersonal skills * Ability to meet timelines * Ability to communicate in writing and orally * Good analytical and troubleshooting skills * Spanish fluency a necessity Experience: * Required two to three years clinical experience with populations served. * Independent practice license preferred.
