Job Description:

To demonstrate support of the hospital mission and vision by providing nursing, case management/disease management services to clients and families to help in the coordination and management of individuals' health needs through the full continuum, as needed. The Centers Registered Nurse demonstrates the ability to assess, coordinate, plan, monitor, implement and evaluate the patient's plan of care while ensuring and facilitating the achievement of optimal quality, clinical and financial outcomes.

Performs assessment of clinical and life issues for the patients of CTCA. Provides professional nursing services in support of the physician, in the direct and indirect care of patients.

Current Georgia RN license from an accredited college

? BSN required or enrolled in a BSN program within 6 months of hire and completed within 3

years of date of hire

? 1 year clinical oncology experience preferred

? BLS certification required. ACLS preferred.

? OCN Certification preferred.

? Bio/Chemo Certification preferred.

Job Description: Develops and implements administrative and operational activities of the Oncology Centers. Develops and executes Center goals in order to support the organizational mission and strategic plan of the Outpatient Oncology Clinic and Southeastern Regional Medical Center as well as improve patient retention and satisfaction. Collaborates and communicates with patients, management team, center stakeholders, medical staff and hospital staff to enhance the quality and efficiency of health care delivery. Responsible for the development of oncology disease management throughout the continuum of care, promoting best practices and quality of life. Ensures that the Oncology Centers provide clinical coordination of care and services for patients while supporting the mission of CTCA by treating patients as a whole person in a compassionate and caring environment. Ensures adherence to all state and federal regulatory requirements in their respective Center of Advanced Oncology. RN candidate must have current Georgia RN License from an accredited college and be in good standing with the board of nursing. BSN or enrollment in BSN program required. Non Nursing candidates must hold Minimum of a BS/BA in Business, Healthcare, Human Resources or a related field. Graduate Degree desirable. Management experience Preferred. Strong Organizational and Communication skills required. Strong customer service skills required.
