Our Outbound Services Team Lead is a Customer advocate who guides the team to make a difference in lives every day. You will be responsible for managing department workflow, resolving escalated client concerns and assisting with training the internal team. You will work with LabCorp hospital clients, regional laboratories, lab technical staff and the Customer Service team to build relationships and provide personalized customer service.

Responsibilities of the Hospital Services Team Lead -

  • Use your client contact skills to respond to customer inquiries and problems.

  • Research complex issues and questions using multiple databases.

  • Ability to work with internal and external resources, including lab managers, to deliver expedited problem resolution.

  • Provide education and status on customer requests.

  • Work in a call center environment, assisting customers while making appropriate documentation in CRM system, strong multi-tasking and data entry skills preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to listen, collect data, prioritize requests and manage conflict.

  • Follow procedures and departmental processes.

  • Ability to work regularly scheduled shift where lunches and breaks are scheduled.

  • Assess daily workload volumes and distribute assignments to team.

  • Assist with training and education for Hospital Services team members.

  • Assist with development of workflow process improvements to deliver improved service levels

  • Ability to adjust work hours on occasions to support training and coverage

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of applicable client contact experience

  • Minimum 1 year of applicable test resulting experience, preferred

  • Clinical laboratory testing, medical front or back office, phlebotomy or similar experience preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
