VGM Fulfillment is national leader is CPAP machine and resupply order fulfillment. As an employee-owned company, every person at VGM has a personal stake in seeing business succeed. We do this by taking responsibility from our customers for the key operations of order fulfillment: picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management. Our network of fulfillment centers is strategically located throughout the United States providing coverage to all 50 states. This role needs to be present onsite at our warehouse location in Waterloo, IA.

Job Purpose Summary:

The outbound supervisor will have leadership and management of pickers, shippers, utility associates and specialty pickers in the warehouse. As a supervisor, it is important that you have a general awareness and knowledge of how all outbound activity effects the business. This role will have oversite of warehouse team leads, hourly production, and production support team members. Accountable to warehouse manager for departmental and shift applicable key performance indicators [KPIs].

Working Hours: Weekend Shift; Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 6am-6:30pm with expectation to come in early and stay late dependent on the needs of the business

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading and developing assigned team members, inclusive of completing annual reviews, weekly timecards, and any time off requests

• Maintain thorough understanding of standard operating procedures and answer any questions relating to the procedures

• Provide both direct and indirect supervision of employees

• Oversite and execution of daily shift goals and tasks as defined by warehouse manager

• Execution of allocating labor for volume as defined by warehouse manager

• Enforcement of department related incentive programs as approved by head of operations and head of finance

• Accountable to designated production and replenishment established KPIs for designated shift

• Be available to come in early and stay late as needed to provide adequate support to the business.

Key Qualifications:

• Ability to delegate, follow up, and hold themselves and others accountable

• Ability to consistently communicate with other VGMF and VGM Group personnel in person and via Microsoft Office 365 products.

• Ability to enforce internal VGMF policies and VGM Group HR policies

• Ability to develop, influence, and coach direct and indirect reports

• Ability to understand and speak to departmental KPI's

• Willing to work overtime if needed including a few Saturdays, or a couple hours during the week.

Education:

• High School diploma or GED

Physical Requirements:

• On feet for 75% of workday

• Ability to react quickly and move quickly to various locations throughout the building as needed by the operation

• At least 50% of daily time dedicated to being "on the floor" available to direct reports and other personnel
