The Outbound Customer Sales Representative position focuses only on business-to-business sales development over the phone and through email. This is an Inside Sales position located on-site at the Batteries Plus Bulbs corporate office and national headquarters in Hartland, WI, you will focus on prospecting potential new commercial business customers across the country. Can you think of a business that does not use power or lighting products? New sales opportunities are endless. As part of our growing commercial sales development team, you will market Batteries Plus Bulbs as the one-stop-shop for power, charging, and lighting solutions for businesses nationwide. Outbound phone calls, prospecting, identifying and following up on leads, cold calling, creating sales proposals, and developing new commercial business accounts are all part of this exciting and fast-paced role. The ideal Outbound Customer Sales Representative candidate will have at least one year of outbound sales experience in Inside Sales, telesales, telemarketing, or phone sales experience with demonstrated success, strong verbal and written communication skills, an Associate's Degree or higher, have a passion for sales, and be a highly motivated achiever. Responsibilities:

  • Sales and development of new commercial accounts through outbound phone calls

  • Identify key decision-makers in organizations to promote business account program benefits

  • Support new market development through outbound phone calls, open business accounts, and generate orders

  • Achieve daily call goal expectations, track activity using Salesforce.com

  • Attend commercial sales team meetings

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of inside sales or phone sales experience

  • Associate's Degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication skills over the phone

  • Outbound telesales experience - business-to-business / B2B

  • Working knowledge of MS Office, prior experience with Google Suite helpful, ability to learn new technology programs

  • Prior experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.com helpful

  • Passion for sales and selling trustworthy products

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and partner with businesses to provide solutions

  • Drive for success to meet and exceed expectations

As an Antifreeze Sales and Service Representative (AFSR) you will start your day by inspecting your vehicle and equipment for safe operation along with aligning work orders to minimize mileage and travel time before heading out in one of our Commercial Motor Vehicles where you will service existing customers by delivering varying types of new antifreeze, recycled, and collecting used antifreeze. Additionally, you will be responsible for customer service and new business development in a certain geographic area as assigned by the company.
