Responsibilities

The Outbound Coordinator is a key member of the operations team, under the management of the Shop Manager and general direction from the Operations Manager, this individual will support the operation by planning and optimizing outbound orders for on-time delivery to client locations. This individual must have strong problem-solving skills and must be proficient with computer systems and applications. This individual must be a team player who is customer-focused and has the required skills and experience to be successful in the role.

Essential functions

  • Track and provide updates on outbound orders.

  • Ensure orders are fulfilled and on time.

Other duties

  • Understanding of and compliance with company policies

  • Ability to work more than 8 hours in a shift and / or on weekends may be required.

Supervisory responsibilities

  • Management and supervision of all staff assigned

Physical demands

  • Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds.

  • Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

  • Specific vision abilities for this job may include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus, with or without the use of glasses or contact lenses.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to follow spots and moving lights, loud noises, fumes, or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.

  • May be required to operate motor vehicles and load/unload trucks

Travel requirements

  • Occasional local travel.

  • Driver's license preferred.

Required education and experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred)
