About the Team

The mission of the Presale Core Team at Doordash is to promote growth in local economies by building connections with businesses across the nation and promoting the DoorDash platform. Stationed locally, this team creates deep partnerships with the most coveted local and regional restaurants in any given geography.

About the Role

We're looking for an Outbound Account Executive to bring the best local and regional small and mid-size merchants on to DoorDash's platform. You'll be focused on leading the sales cycle and closing partnerships with prospective merchants while promoting the DoorDash brand. You'll report into our sales leadership, you'll have direct access to all you'll need to grow your career to the next level.

  • Help transform the way restaurants monetize through our on-demand delivery service

  • Create a great first impression with merchants and build a pipeline of qualified leads

  • Lead the full sales cycle while closing transactions to attain new business from small to midsize merchants

  • Master email marketing automation tools to creatively engage prospects

  • Have strong prospecting abilities. You're skilled in contacting high volume new business opportunities through various channels, such as cold calling, online research, networking, and referrals.

We're excited about you because…

  • You have 1+ years of experience, ideally in a high volume sales environment

  • You have experience in Small - Medium (SMB) business to business sales

  • You have managed a full sales cycle and have been in a closing or lead generation sales role

  • You have persistence and resilience: Willingness to make a high volume of cold calls, handle rejection professionally, and maintain a positive attitude to achieve desired results.

  • You are genuinely curious about people, local businesses, and technology

  • You have a dynamic personality with a customer-focused mindset

  • You are passionate about sales

  • You are proficient with sales tools and technology: Comfortable using CRM software, sales automation tools, and other technologies to manage and track sales activities

  • You are Bilingual in English and Spanish (not required)
