OT Infrastructure Engineer

Join us in this role where you'll use your OT expertise to design and implement OT server infrastructure that will directly support and enable our Offshore and Onshore operating assets. You'll be working with server technologies and management systems that are critical to our success.

Welcome to OT Production team

You'll be part of IT/OT Production team, where you together with your colleagues, will participate in establishing Server Infrastructure that supports not only our operating assets in Offshore and Offshore but also our Generator Control Centre located on Long island. You'll join a department of 10+ colleagues spread around the world and you'll collaborate with the local team and project teams working in a global and dynamic setup, with the opportunity to travel to our operating hubs and sites. You'll be supporting the generation of electrons through to the glue that connects our systems, all the way from the wind turbines to the land-based IT infrastructure. As a team, we put high focus on collaboration and friendly surroundings where all opinions are welcome. We grow both individually and within the department.

You'll play an important role in:

• being responsible for operating our hypervisors, server operating systems e.g. VMware, Windows Server, as well as other management platforms.
• being the key interface between our server infrastructure team and security architects, enterprise architects and key stakeholders to design, create and implementation of new projects following a contract with a panel supplier and ensuring high quality of deliveries.
• infrastructure related activities (Patch management, Anti-virus solution deployment, Backup, Restore and disaster recovery administering our tender requirements and best practices.

To succeed in the role, you:

• will have a deep technical understanding in at least two of the following areas:

VMware or other hypervisor, Windows Server and PowerShell, Cohesity Backup, PAM 360 or Tripwire.

• will be able to Setup, configure and carry out ongoing management of new/existing server infrastructure, according to our roadmap and Ørsted standards to meet business deadlines.
• will participate in a 24/7 support function.
• will proactively monitor all sites and connections, in addition capture all issues and concerns raised.
• will thrive in an office and operational site environment and have strong experience with electrical and communication systems design software.
