OSI Student Worker - Institutional Student Worker

Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for an OSI Student Worker - Institutional Student Worker on the Gainesville campus. Student Workers report to Office Assistant III, Kyle Andersen, to the Office of Student Involvement. Duties will include general office tasks such as copying, filing, faxing, etc. Additionally, this position is responsible for tracking all front desk phone/walk-in traffic and assisting the campus community. Other responsibilities include room/event reservations, special projects for office staff, and helping to maintain two resource centers and a workroom.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone and greet office visitors.

• Log all office usage.

• Replace supplies as needed.

• Maintaining publicity avenues - bulletin boards and campus wide Oval Office Times (bathroom news and event calendar).

• Providing general information and assistance to the campus community.

• Filing, Shredding and copying documents.

• Assist office personnel as needed.

• Dress appropriately for job (Pants, Jeans, T-shirts (UNG preferred not required), No sandals please).

Required Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.

• Minimum GPA 2.5.
