Full Time Eligible 80 hours per paid period. Varied Hours.
Weekends required. High School graduation or equivalent. Current BLS card required from American Heart Association.
Orthopedic Tech certification preferred or encouraged to obtain certification within 18 months of hire. NBCOT certification a plus Knowledge of basic anatomy& physiology preferred. Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Required skills of overhead frame and trapeze setup and application, varied traction applications, SCPD's, CPM's splinting, casting w/fiberglass and plaster preferred. Experience Orthopedic Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, assembles and applies traction devices to patients. Assists in application and removal of casts and splints under direct supervision of physician. Maintains adequate levels of orthopedic supplies and equipment in clean, working order.
