To meet the increasing complexity and diversity of our patient population we are seeking Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join our team of experienced orthopedic surgeons. You will work closely with patients and their families and be an integral part of developing great patient and collegial relationships. Your role at OCI is essential to promoting a professional atmosphere through courteous communication, cooperation and respect for patients, visitors and members of the healthcare team. You will play a mentoring/leadership role in developing the doctor's clinic team with a focus on living OCI's mission, vision and values every day.

Orthopedic Walk-In Clinic
Provide direct assessment, diagnosis, and formulate/implement treatment plan for patients presenting with orthopedic illness or injury
History and physical
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Prescribe medications
Instruct, educate and counsel patients
Promote the practice
Workweek/Clinic Hours are Monday
Friday 7:30a-6:00p and Saturday 8:00a
12:00
Physician(s) specializing in sports medicine / joint reconstruction/ total joint replacement
Provide surgical first assist
Rounding of post-op patients at hospitals
Pre and post-operative exams. Significant time is spent with patient inquiries regarding preoperative and post-operative care
Provide direct assessment, diagnosis, and formulate/implement treatment plan for patients presenting with orthopedic illness or injury
History and physical
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Prescribe medications
Instruct, educate and counsel patients
Promote the practice
Workweek is normally Monday-Friday office hours
Essential Requirements
All candidates must be licensed to practice in the state of Illinois
OCI is particularly interested in candidates with two or more years' experience in orthopedics
