Position Information:

The Orthopaedic Technologist contributes to the overall wellness of the practice through a positive attitude, team commitment and a thorough knowledge of cast technology. Acts as a positive role model for others in the practice. Provides clinical support to the practice and expertise in casting techniques.

Experience Requirements:

Training Clinical

  • Casting Technology Or Equivalent Work/Certification Required

  • And 2 Years Clinical

  • Orthopaedics Preferred

Education Required:

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required


Licensure/Certification Requirements:

NBCOT Orthopaedic Technologist Certified Or ASOP Registered Orthopedic Technologist Required

  • Or Equivalent Education Requirement

Hours of Work:

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Weekend Requirements:

No Weekends

Position Information: The Lead Ambulatory Care Nurse is responsible for providing physician support and as applicable, comprehensive nursing care to patients and their families. This position works collaboratively with practice management and the Clinical Supervisor to ensure consistent standards of practice and competencies in the delivery of patient care services. The position will perform duties within the scope of practice, ensuring consistency with hospital and WakeMed Physician Practices policies and procedures, standards of care, standing orders and evidence-based guidelines. The position will also adhere to practice standards governed by all applicable state, federal and regulatory agencies.
