Coastal Maine ORTHOPAEDIC P.A. /N.POutstanding opportunity to join a well-established, hospital-employed orthopaedics team located directly on the coast of Maine. Pen Bay Orthopaedics has an opening for a Physician Assistant or a Nurse Practitioner.The position offers an ideal 4 day work week which allows for a great work life balance.
First assist certification preferred.
Located on the waterfront campus of Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport, Maine, Pen Bay Orthopedics is an active three surgeon, four PA group with expertise in a broad spectrum of orthopedic procedures. Responsibilities include patient office visits, surgical first assist and 1:4 compensated weekend call.

The Hospital: Pen Bay Medical Center (PBMC) is a 99-bed, full-service community hospital located directly on beautiful Penobscot Bay in Rockport, Maine.
We offer inpatient and outpatient care, diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative services, patient and community education, and a full-range of specialty services through the Emergency Department, Special Care Unit, Surgical Services Department, a full Hospitalist Service, and the Psychiatric Addiction & Recovery Center.
With a Medical Staff of about 90 physicians, PBMC offers an impressive array of specialty and sub-specialty services. More than 97 percent of our Medical Staff members are board-certified in their practice specialty.
