Annual Security Report Notice

Pace is committed to ensuring the safety and security of the students, faculty, staff and visitors to the University. In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the University's Safety and Security department publishes an Annual Security and Fire Safety Report, which can be accessed here. The report contains information on security policies as well as crime and fire statistics for the University.

Orientation Leader (OL) These students serve as small group leaders and help students and families with the transition to college life on our campus. OLs provide an essential service during Orientation programs by answering questions, creating connections, and serving as a role model and resource for new students and their families. This position will have training from June 10 to June 26, and then will work in person during all five orientation sessions and one virtual session. The duties of this position will end during the week of August 5, 2024, after orientations end.

Qualifications

  • Must be currently registered, full-time Pace undergraduate student and anticipated to be returning as a full-time undergraduate for Fall 2024

  • Maintain at least a 2.5 GPA at the time of employment offer (March 2024) and at start of employment (May/June 2024) with at least 30 credits completed by the end of the Spring 2024 semester

  • Maintain good judicial standing at time of employment offer (March 2024) and at start of employment (June 2024)

  • Available to attend all Orientation sessions and trainings

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Must be able to handle confidential information in a discreet manner

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Reliable and patient with visitors

  • Office experience a plus

  • Ability to work independently

  • Strong customer service and organizational skills

  • Good customer service skills

  • Hospitable and welcoming

  • Inclusive of all
