This position acts as liaison between AF and Army munitions program and contracting offices.

Support acquisition program operations and general organizational workflow (philosophy, policies and procedures) services to procurement activities, project and/or program management tasks, acquisition programs, and organizational activities. This includes skills required to support management functions, processes and analytical methods or techniques to gather, analyze and evaluate information to include, but not limited to, organizational structures and resource requirements, utilization or control; manning requirements; human resources; and knowledge of DoD and AF program and project analysis. Also includes developing and implementing programs to facilitate the identification and improvement of processes for the purpose of continuous process improvement.

Provide personnel with knowledge and experience in accountable and non-accountable supplies and equipment processes, management and accountability; process supply and equipment requisitions; maintaining stores of accountable and non-accountable supplies and equipment; and conducting inventories IAW AFI 23-111 and AFMAN 23-110

Develop and implement programs to facilitate the identification and improvement of processes for the purpose of continuous process improvement.

Must have 2 years of college or technical school and 6 years of experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 8 years; including:

  • 5 years' experience in DoD operations management

DoD secret clearance required at time of hire.

Attendance

  • Normal hours are Monday Friday 7:00am 5:00pm

  • Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines

  • Regular attendance is necessary and required

  • Must be able to communicate effectively

  • Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with clients, supervisors and co-workers

  • Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to the employee or others

Essential Functions * Serves as a champion for FXG's Safety Above All Culture and supports all related initiatives * Management responsibilities include, but are not limited to: hiring, terminations, coaching, training, recognition and rewards, performance evaluation and management, discipline, addressing employee concerns and staff productivity * Plans, organizes, staffs, directs and controls specific day-to-day operations within the station or hub * Responsible for assigning and managing employees to ensure the safe and efficient sortation of packages through the facility, minimizing operational cost and maximizing operational quality, including the movement, tracking and administration of trailers (in conjunction with the linehaul department as applicable) * Analyzes operational performance through direct observation, interpretation of reports and collaboration with others.
