Organizational Learning and Development Consultant

This temporary position of Organizational Learning & Development Consultant is designed to create tools and content to support the implementation of a supervisory performance management coaching program. It will include coaching of middle managers; writing effective goals providing individual contributors the vision and leadership to develop organizational changing projects tied to strategic goals; how to recognize employee contributions and create a culture of recognition.
How to manage performance expectations tailored to each program; writing an effective evaluation statement by developing individualized baselines; leadership skills and how to manage performance expectations. This is a one-year contract position.
Degree Requirement Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Required
Certification Requirement Crucial Conversations Preferred Coaching Certification Preferred 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Trainer Preferred Certified Professional in Learning & Performance Preferred Change Management Certification Preferred Associate Professional in Training Development Certification Preferred
Experience Requirement 6 - 10 years of related experience. Required Experience developing and delivering performance management training.
Preferred Experience developing and delivering harassment, intimidation, and bullying training.
Advanced knowledge of functional area and advanced understanding of how work impacts other areas in human resources and the organization.
Advanced skills in planning, resourcing and monitoring effective training delivery.
Advanced knowledge of training and development, performance management and workplace learning. Ability to apply knowledge to achieve successful organizational outcomes.
Advanced verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and advanced presentation skills.
Advanced knowledge of training and delivery methodologies, organizational diagnosis and organization and business strategies.
Advanced analytical skills to conduct analysis and develop recommendations, demonstrating organization and problem-solving skills.
Advanced knowledge of organizational policies and procedures.
