Key Responsibilities

  • Lead regional annual People and Capability Review Process by identifying key themes and trends from the business challenges and defining appropriate talent actions to address the needs.

  • Partner with Business Leaders to assess developmental needs associated with our succession planning and talent review processes; provide counsel on the best developmental opportunities aligned with these initiatives to develop the talent needed for the future.

  • Monitor action planning of 2019 broad-based employee survey results and implement pulse surveys in 2020, analyze the results and recommend actions to improve employee engagement across the organization.

  • Lead and guide regional EMEA team in promoting our e-learning platform including monitoring KPI's and deriving necessary activities

  • Oversee the EMEA performance management process including ensuring the timely completion goal setting, mid-year review and year-end performance review tasks in Workday and internal calibration sessions

  • Facilitate alignment among the EMEA HR team to ensure consistent execution of Talent Management Processes.

  • Work in close cooperation with corporate HR to implement EVP programme in EMEA.

  • Oversee the European Learning and Development training programme, annual calendar & budget to support the delivery of business growth while fostering a positive culture. (Trainings, Hogan and 360)

  • Oversee Ingredion's EMEA coaching programme ensuring an adequate supply of internal coaches are trained and supported.

Knowledge, Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business or HR discipline required, MS or MBA preferred.

  • 7- 10 years' experience in a HR Generalist/Business Partner role with a genuine bias for Talent Management/Organization Effectiveness role or experience in a Talent Management/Organization Effectiveness role with a strong understanding what works in businesses

  • Business Acumen

  • Knows how businesses work; Knowledgeable in current and possible trends, technology, and information affecting his/her business and organization.
  • Organizational Agility
  • Knowledgeable about how organizations work; Knows how to get things done both through formal channels and the informal network.
  • Fluent in English and German, verbal and written

  • Strong project management, presentation, communication and coaching skills.

VIEW JOBS 1/14/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-04-13T00:00 Position: Regional Legal Counsel Location: Hamburg, Germany The Regional Legal Counsel for EMEA will be responsible for executing Corporate and regional strategy with regard to all aspects of legal support in the EMEA operating division and for advising the regional leadership team regarding legal aspects in their respective areas. He/She leads legal best practice in the region by providing guidance and legal opinion with and without external counsel. He/She is responsible for compliance matters in the region and chairs the regional compliance committee. Core Responsibilities: * Provide timely and complete communication to Ingredion's General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and other executive leadership members as appropriate regarding legal and compliance matters in the EMEA operating division. * Proactively advise senior Corporate and regional management regarding legal matters with appropriate risk analysis in the EMEA operating division under the direction of the General Counsel. * Provide day-to-day legal support to management and operational personnel in the EMEA affiliates in alignment with the Corporate Legal department's policies and practices. * Provide legal support to Ingredion's commercial, finance, accounting, and tax functions at the affiliate and Corporate level, in coordination with finance personnel. * Lead M&A activities from a legal aspect and co-establish a structure for deals. Enable acquisition projects and/or alliances while safeguarding Ingredion's interests in an appropriate manner. * Provide support to company Corporate Secretarial function at affiliate and Corporate levels, timely coordinating completion of required formalities. * Manage outside counsel including supervision of legal work to ensure effectiveness and alignment with Company objectives. * Participate as a member and ad hoc secretary of the EMEA Compliance Committee. Provide advice and legal counsel to country-level compliance committees. Coordinate with the Corporate Compliance team with regard to structure and strategy for compliance matters in the Asia Pacific operating division. * Primary responsibility for budget setting and performance against budget for external counsel spend in the EMEA operating division and working with country-level Finance teams regarding the same. * Deliver timely, effective legal solutions in a fluid environment helping to create a sustainable competitive edge for Ingredion. * Contribute to the innovation process by assisting the creation, acquisition and defense of intellectual property rights. * Represent the Company and protect its interests in legal disputes, notably pertaining to commercial or employment matters. * Function as a member of the EMEA regional leadership team and a dispersed global Legal team and multi-functional project team * Provide or arrange for training of regional employees on legal related topics of business need * Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Qualified candidates will have: * Juris Doctor or equivalent. * 10 to 15 years of related experience. * U.S. corporate governance legislation including Sarbanes-Oxley, Dodd-Frank. * International anti-corruption and bribery legislation including the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the U.K. Bribery Act. * U.S. and international antitrust/fair competition laws * General knowledge of international commerce and prior experience in EMEA * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, legal drafting, basic project management. * Fluency in English is required.
