The Organizational Development Consultant serves as a consultant to leaders, internal HR partners and other Network colleagues to support key business and people objectives. Collaborates with stakeholders to plan, develop, implement and evaluate organizational change programs, as well provide 1:1 support to leaders at all levels. This position will require regular on-site facilitations/meetings across the Network, but can allow for hybrid/remote work as the schedule permits.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides a broad range of consultative services to all levels of the workforce including leadership coaching, content facilitation, team development, systems analysis, process reengineering and performance measurement/evaluation.

  • Coaches, mentors, and advises new and established Network leaders with a demonstrated ability to provide nuanced guidance and feedback with tact and empathy.

  • Creates and adapts original and visually compelling training materials tailored to team needs; presents material with confident, charismatic facilitation skills.

  • Leads development events, retreats, and workgroup sessions by bringing structure to meetings and coaching participants in their roles and responsibilities to achieve defined stakeholder outcomes.

  • Demonstrates flexibility to travel to all Network locations to facilitate in-person training events/meetings.

  • Collaborates with relevant stakeholders throughout the Network to identify and implement learning and developmental activities for the workforce to facilitate the acquisition of core competencies, maintenance of required knowledge/skills and to support the Network's succession planning objectives.

  • Conducts needs assessments for training, staff development and business performance issues to enhance the Network workforce effectiveness; makes recommendations for process or performance improvements based on assessment findings.

  • Maintains consultative relationships with people in subject-matter expert areas/centers of excellence that provide input to or deliver training and development within the Network.

  • Builds and maintains a library of resources that address frequently needed and/or required competencies of the workforce.

PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:

Sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 3 hours at a time, frequently uses fingers for typing, data entry, etc. Frequent use of hands; uses upper extremities to rarely lift up to 10 pounds. Occasionally stoops, bends or reaches above shoulder level. Hearing as it relates to normal conversation, seeing as it relates to general vision, near vision, peripheral vision, and visual monotony.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in human resources management, organizational development or related field required OR bachelor's degree with equivalent professional human resources or organizational development experience required.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

Six plus years of progressive experience in the field of human resources, organizational development and/or training required, with a demonstrated history of advising and partnering with key business stakeholders to drive development and performance improvement.
