The position is a hands-on position, and the successful candidate will be required to work with project stakeholders and IT team members to plan communications, develop content, review content developed by others, and/or coordinate the delivery of the communications, including in-person presentations, webinars, short videos, newsletter articles, job aids, etc.
At least eight years' of experience developing content for public consumption.
At least four years' experience developing content for technology initiatives.
Proven ability to develop content either from scratch, or build on what others have created (writing portfolio required).
Experience working on multiple communications initiatives concurrently in a high-pressure environment.
Excellent oral, written and communication skills.
Excellent coordinating and organizational skills.
Proficient in Office 365 products, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience using tools to develop digital content, such as Adobe Spark, Lumen5, or other similar applications.
Flexibility -- the ability to switch gears to work on special projects.
