Responsibilities

  • Consult with management and other leadership to identify business needs and create and implement programs that connect employees with business goals

  • Identify and evaluate business initiatives to ascertain appropriate programs that meet company goals

  • Provide project and program management for employee engagement, performance management, facilitating team efforts and helping to define and execute project goals

  • Develop methods of measuring if performance management, training programs and other initiatives align with organizational goals

  • Using data, consult with HR Business Partners and organizational leaders to identify workforce challenges and facilitate solutions

  • Create and deliver a broad range of training classes, online and in person, that develop management knowledge and leadership skills to influence behavior

  • Manage users, catalogs, courses, events, assignments and reporting withing the Learning Management System (LMS)

  • Conduct new hire orientation classes as needed

  • Act as a contributing member of the human resources department, completing a broad range of tanks as needed to ensure that internal quality service and employee satisfaction are met

  • Design and manage a program that includes goal creation and feedback to enhance employee performance, creating a culture of continuous learning and development

  • Develop and implement succession processes that identifies talent, closes talent gaps and increase readiness for critical leadership roles

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated competence and experience in the design, delivery and facilitation of organization effectiveness, learning & development, and leadership development

  • Demonstrated experience at building relationships both internally and externally; comfortable working with senior leadership

  • Understand the theories and application of adult learning principles

  • Knowledge of change management principles and practices

  • Proven ability to design courses, training programs, online content and quick reference materials

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to build immediate rapport and gain credibility with all audiences

  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to take initiative in development and completion of projects

  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines by working both independently and as part of a team

  • Strong orgainzational and prioritization skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Experience working with HRIS, LMS and online content creation systems

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business related field

  • Minimum of 3 years organizational development experience

OSDH is seeking full time License Trainer providing support to Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA). This is an unclassified position in state government, located in Oklahoma City, OK.OSDH offers a comprehensive Benefits Package, including a generous benefit allowance to offset the cost of insurance premiums for employees and their eligible dependents. For more information about the benefit allowance [click here]. The annual salary for this position is up to $47,000.00 based on education and experience. Position Responsibilities / Essential functions * Build upon current training manual to ensure compliance with mandates and improve efficiencies; o Current Procedure Manual should be updated to reflect new rules, legislation, laws, or improvement strategies * Develop training materials that offer different types of learning tools to new and existing staff; * Offer ongoing training to veteran staff to assure compliance with updated legislation, laws, and regulations; * Create mechanism for feedback and identify creative solutions; * Oversee new employee training and test to release in system to include all areas: o Patient License o Caregiver License o Business Dispensaries Growers Processors o Call Center System Operation FAQs and talking points * Assist with the development and implementation of Quality Assurance compliance and incentive programs; * Coordinate with the management team for the weekly monitoring and audit process; * Identify data quality indicators and monitor progress; * Identify appropriate management reports, run reports and review results; * This position will be responsible for maintaining training records for individuals receiving training. Information will be entered into a newly developed training database; * This position will be responsible to attend/participate in all mandatory staff meetings and in-service training and will assist with planning meeting agenda items and conduct presentations as needed for .these meetings and in-services. * Demonstrates knowledge of and supports mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior. * Works effectively in team environment, participating and assisting their peers. Valued Skills and Experience Knowledge – of medical marijuana licensing program, operational procedure adherence, rules pertaining to state laws and mandates, Lean Six Sigma certification, IT licensing platforms and customer service using multiple communication techniques. Administrative principles and practices, including data analysis, ad hoc research, program management and business administration also a plus.
