The Inova Systems Headquarters in Falls Church, VA is seeking a Senior Organization Development Consultant!

Develops meaningful and productive relationships with HR and business leaders to assess needs and develop strategies to increase operational effectiveness and individual, team and organizational performance. Manages project work end-to-end and ensures productive partnerships with all project members, vendors and stakeholders.

Serve as a subject matter expert and consultant in performance management, succession and executive development, change management, competency integration, culture transformations and other core learning & organizational development areas. The successful incumbent will possess strong facilitation, coaching and influencing skills.


Minimum Requirements:

Experience: 5+ years of related and progressively increasingly responsibility in organizational development, change management, business process improvement, IO psychology, or other related fields. Analyzing organizational development and effectiveness and recommends, designs, and implements business solutions to include assessment and selection, competency model development and implementation, survey design, performance management, team effectiveness and talent and succession planning

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources or related field. Prefer candidates with a Master's Degree in Organization Development or related field.

Training: Formal training in leadership development approaches, group facilitation, and improving team effectiveness.

Certifications: Leadership Coaching or Change Management Certification strongly preferred

Demonstrated effective project management skills.

Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated experience in designing surveys and assessment tools.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.

Ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and create strong partnerships with diverse stakeholders in the organization.

Strong Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

Northrop Grumman Corporate Human Resources Organization is seeking candidates for an Organization Effectiveness Consultant position located in Falls Church, VA. This position reports to the Director of Organization Effectiveness. The Consultant is responsible for planning and facilitating various talent development and change initiatives and processes. This includes a wide variety of talent programs such as leadership effectiveness, culture change and team interventions. The Consultant will collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders and enterprise-wide team members to meet project deliverables. S/he will also support project tracking and team execution, drive the communication flow with all constituents to ensure project success and seek out and share best practices for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate must be able to perform a wide array of project tasks independently, drive projects to completion, develop creative solutions, manage multiple tasks with competing priorities and handle variable workloads. Excellent collaboration, communication, interpersonal and platform skills are required. The ability to operate effectively as part of a dynamic team as well as interface effectively with all levels of management is essential. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: * Partner with Organization Effectiveness team members and HR teams to implement key talent development and change initiatives for the ES sector and Corporate functions. * Lead special projects in leadership effectiveness and culture change Conduct leadership effectiveness sessions and facilitate team interventions Guide and consult with business leaders and HRBPs to develop talent solutions for organizations and leaders. * Design and deliver training to HR team members on key talent processes and organization specific requirements. * Prepare and provide HR and business leaders with standard and customized talent analytics to identify pipeline gaps/ risks and assess progress on key drivers. * Develop communications and communication & change management plans. At a Sr Principal level, the above is included as well as these reposibilities- * Assess critical organization and talent issues and provides expertise, guidance, direction and execution to address * Facilitates identification and development of organization and process redesign efforts * Provides coaching, consulting and training to leaders and employees * Able to lead large scale initiatives in an fast paced ambiguous environment * Consults with leadership and executives to design and develop innovative solutions to address organizational challenges This role may be filled at a Principal or Sr Principal role Basic Qualifications: Principal level- * Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience in HR, Organization Effectiveness or related discipline such as leadership development, change management; 4 years of experience with a master's degree. * Experience facilitating group discussions and gaining consensus/ agreement using a variety of approaches Demonstrated experience managing and analyzing data, interpreting findings, communicating analyses and results, and making sound recommendations based on findings. * Experience designing, developing and delivering training to a variety of audiences. * Proven track record in acting with a thoughtful sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment to create and execute solutions. Highly proficient in Microsoft office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Sr Principal level- * Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience in HR, Organization Effectiveness or related discipline such as leadership development, change management; 8 years of experience with a master's degree. * Skilled at developing solutions to complex problems using ingenuity and innovation * Able to navigate a variety of stakeholders with differing views on how to solve achieve success * Able to see obstacles as opportunities and bring a solution oriented approach * Effective at leading teams and being part of a team * Skilled at influencing and shaping strategies and plans with stakeholders * Comfortable performing in a continuously changing environment Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Human Resources, Organization Development or related field.
