Create and lead activities related to projects following an established organizational change management process
Stakeholder assessments, data analysis, development and implementation of people focused transition strategies and strategic communication plans, facilitation of training.
Support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans.
Apply established structured change management approach and methodology for the people side change caused by projects and change efforts
Identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns
Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner
Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans including communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan and resistance management plan
Support the execution of plans by employee-facing managers and business leaders
Provide active and visible coaching to executive leaders who are change sponsors
Identify resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and implement corrective actions
Create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success
Work with project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan
Work with communication, training, and HR specialists in the formulation of particular plans and activities to support project implementation

Bachelor's degree in related field appropriate for the assignment plus six years of experience.
Prefer experience developing concepts, processes, and systems that support organizational change activities relating to enterprise architectures, large-scale modernization efforts, and/or EAM/ERP initiatives.
Change Management Professional designation is a plus
Accredited Communicator Certification is a plus
Solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
Experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies (example: Prosci certification)
Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
Experience with large-scale organizational change effort
Advanced interpersonal skills - Ability to interact effectively with various individuals/groups throughout Company from executive management to hourly personnel to perform high quality work under pressure and on tight deadlines
Knowledge of the electric utility industry and the current information technology environment is preferred
Exceptional oral, written and listening skills; ability to be persuasive with publics of diverse backgrounds and viewpoints
Solid organizational skills; ability to handle multiple tasks and work under intense pressure
Ability to negotiate with individuals on all levels of the organization, and provide communications counsel to executive management
Ability to guide and facilitate teams/partners who are experts in their fields
Ability to use discretion in handling confidential and highly sensitive information
Ability to explain complex issues and technical information in terms appropriate for various audiences
Strong problem solving skills for providing answers, enlisting support and finding new solutions, often under stress and deadlines
Ability to work independently, often on sensitive issues, under severe deadlines

Job Description: The IT Change Manager oversees and ensures change requests. This position is responsible for reviewing, administering and implementing change management processes and procedures, assessing change management needs, developing and implementing plans to guide the organization to a mature change process. Ensures solutions and infrastructure changes are introduced in a controlled and efficient manner. Conducts research on Technical Change Management process improvement and ensuring Infrastructure, InfoSec & Application Development readiness assessment procedures remain current and up-to-date. Developing, implementing, and maintaining internal change management policies, procedures and associated training plans. Conducts Change Advisory Board meetings. Training change requestors and approvers on existing change policies and procedures. Assisting with the definition and documentation of new or adapted change processes and procedures. Executing periodic testing of change processes to ensure compliance. Standard Duties and Responsibilities: * Identify, develop, and implement the Change Management process as appropriate for either specific segment, i.e., Issuing, Acquiring, or physical location, control and tools for strategic project and Business as Usual (BAU) initiatives to include identifying and executing improvements to current change management policies and processes. * Develop, implement, and maintain internal change management policies, procedures and associated training plans. * Conduct Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings. Actively participate in Change Control Meetings and provide change management insight and expertise to influence decisions and next steps. * Develop change effectiveness metrics strategy and plan, and report on metrics related to the Change Management processes. Continually work towards making improvements in the change management processes. Contribute to organization cost reduction by monitoring, measuring and improving the change management process. * Conduct, review and oversee the submitted change requests through the change management process, project readiness assessment and adjust the delivery by updating the pipeline and release schedule accordingly and ensuring it is within the parameters of the organization's compliance policies. * Provide direction for proper resolution of change request issues and resolve to foster a common understanding of the Change Management processes scope, applicability, and key sub-processes including configuration and requirements management. Confirm the installation and/or modification to any IT managed resource is accomplished in a logical and orderly fashion to achieve the expected result without undesired service interruption and within agreed timeframe. Build and maintain change management and configuration management tracking/ ticketing systems. Ensure all changes to the production environment can be traced through the documentation and approval process. * Develop Change Management Catalog and ITSM readiness and ensuring that quality is not compromised. Regularly review and evaluate Policies, Tools, Change catalog and ITSM readiness and make changes as appropriate. * Champion of the TSYS change policy, ensuring that it is understood by all parties providing the service, including external suppliers. * Create reporting tools to accurately report change metrics. Create and maintain a Change Control dashboard to easily identify daily changes, failed changes, successful changes, etc. Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree * Relevant Experience or Degree in: Major in Computer Science strongly preferred, other majors considered. Willing to accept additional experience in lieu of a degree. * Typically Minimum 2 Years Relevant Exp Previous Job Experience Required: * Minimum of 5 years experience with IT Operations, IT Production Support, or Change Management. * Experience with Process Improvement Methodology including defining and documenting workflow * Experience with Change Management tool and workflow. * Proven ability to work closely with the business community as well as technical resources in a tactful manner. * Knowledgeable about relevant Change Management Tools. * Experience managing projects and associated resources. * Functional knowledge of firewalls, routers, and network appliances. * Ability to facilitate meeting of peers, enable discussions that leads to resolution and communicate results. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas and persuade others to accomplish challenging goals and objectives.
