This Orderly/Transporter opportunity is full time at 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient flexible schedule. We are looking for a dynamic Orderly/Transporter that will be responsible for keeping the Surgical Services Department clean and organized. Transports patients to and from the OR. Takes specimens to the laboratory, picks up x-rays, charts etc. Participates in the department's performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Reviews the OR schedule for special equipment needs
• Monitors, orders and stacks linen on the linen cart in the sub sterile area for the day.
• Keeps Dirty Utility Rooms, and Specimen Room organized and stocked with regular bags, red bags, paper products and cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Transports all patients safely on surgical stretcher or bed; siderails up, Brakes are applied when patient is transferred on and off the stretcher/bed.

Qualifications

Current Nevada C.N.A. license

Current BLS certification

Prefer one year experience in an acute care/behavioral health setting
