Job Description:

This position transports patients to and from the O.R., handles routine tasks related to patient care, organizes equipment, and provides general cleaning of surgical suites.

5% Geographical Differential Pay

Must work in the O.R.

Job Essentials

Applies standards of and maintains sterile technique appropriately.

Obtains and restocks supplies when needed.

Assists with turnover of the rooms including cleaning appropriately after the case and preparing the room for the next case.

Assists anesthesia when needed including turnover anesthesia equipment.

Keeps department clean including keeping hallways uncluttered by returning supplies and equipment to their proper storage areas.

Responsible for transporting patients to and from surgery.

Transports specimens appropriately including blood and blood products.

May scrub into procedures and assist with organ holds, extremity holds, camera holds, and retractor holds.

May open sterile supplies.

Minimum Qualifications

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.

Pass Basic Aseptic Technique class. Required within 90 days of hire or transfer into this job.

Physical Requirements:

Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, sterile indicator tags, colors, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.

Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.

Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment and instruments with precision and accuracy. This includes computer use and typing for documentation, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.

Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.

  • and -

Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc).

May be expected to stand in a stationary position with personal protective equipment for an extended period of time.

Sr. Financial Analysts also assist in budgeting, forecasting and treasury.</p><p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><p>● Provide complete financial support for end to end Financial Planning and Budgeting</p><p>● Develop and upgrade critical finance processes, business, and review cadence, including leading the monthly and annual financial management cycles</p><p>● Build and update financial models and budgets and perform ad hoc data inquiries as needed.</p><p>● Work with business intelligence tools to extract relevant data as needed. Work with BI team members to gather data as required.</p><p>● Demonstrate working knowledge of concepts and principles of business metrics and analyses, including their application to effective reporting and analysis.</p><p>● Responsible for financial storytelling in monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes.</p><p>NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><p>● Stay current on retail industry trends and developments; stay current with the latest analytics trends and developments. Discuss trends with FP&amp;A team members and make recommendations as appropriate.</p><p>● Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.</p><p>QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES:</p><p>● Four-year college degree or equivalent experience is required. The preferred degree path is economics, finance, accounting, mathematics, or business administration.</p><p>● 3-5 years of professional experience.</p><p>● Microsoft Excel &amp; PowerPoint skills required.</p><p>● Must be curious and interested in learning FP&amp;A.</p><p>● Proficient Microsoft Office skills in Word and Outlook required.</p><p>● The ability to understand and read financial budgets, reports, models, and data is required.</p><p>● Basic understanding of financial reports and preparation of dashboards is required.</p><p>● Prior experience working with Looker and/ or NetSuite a plus.</p><p>ABOUT BACKCOUNTRY</p><p>Seek it.
