Who You Are:
The Order Specialist is responsible for the accurate daily processing and analysis of repair orders including both systematic and physical movement of merchandise through the Repair System and within the Tiffany Service Center and with vendors. The Order Specialist reviews repair orders and their merchandise to ensure accuracy and identify potential issues, assigning materials where possible. In addition, the Specialist analyzes repair orders to identify the correct servicing path through the facility, while maintaining merchandise security.
What You'll Do:
Provide efficient, timely and accurate physical and systematic analysis, processing and movement of repairs and material
Identify and communicate potential order issues
Ensure accurate order information, including but not limited to item description, order type, complete repair request and identification of counterfeit merchandise
Act as a liaison between the Service Center and all internal customers and relevant vendors
Respond professionally to all telephone calls and emails in a timely manner
Proactively work with management with any repair service issues and/or customer escalations
Assist management with projects, flex assignments and/or ongoing tasks to meet the needs of the business as needed
Maintain vendor compliance as it relates to Tiffany's Social Accountability Program and regulatory requirements
Act as an internal customer advocate by working with all departments at the TSC and obtaining information necessary for resolution of customer issues
Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate accordingly with responsible parties
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years' business experience with strong operational background
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Strong initiative and the ability to work without constant direction
Strong English language verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to identify and provide resolution for areas of improvement
High ability to collaborate and build strong business relations
Flexible work schedule and ability to work overtime as needed, including possible weekends
Excellent organizational abilities to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree
Completion of Graduate Gemology degree or completion of courses
Some familiarity with jewelry, watches, clocks and silver products
Experience working in an operations, technical, or luxury retail environment
Proficiency with any of the following: JDE One World, E1 and Business Objects
Knowledge in AS400, MIPS, POS or Compass
The hiring range for this position ranges from $22 - $30/hr. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates' relevant skills and experience.
