Order Selector

Are you an experienced warehouse/forklift operator looking for your next opportunity? Staffmark San Leandro is hiring an Order Selector for our client in Union City, CA. As summer heats up, cool down by working in refrigerated rooms handling perishable goods. Join us and help keep things chill while ensuring accurate staging and sorting of products for loading.

Pay: $21 per hour

Schedules Available:

• Sunday-Wednesday

• Thursday-Saturday

Order Selector Responsibilities:

• Load and unload trailers

• Package or kit finished products for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)

• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material needs

• Assemble product containers and crates using hand tools and precut lumber

• Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated rooms

• Weigh or count items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)

• Maintain inventory records

Requirements: At least one year of related warehouse/forklift experience
