Randstad in Montgomery County is seeking a savvy, sales support and Order Management focused professional for a corporate culinary company in Gaithersburg! What will you do? Provides sales, customer service, operational and analytical support with in respect to "SOS" special order service including customized order Customer Service/Sales:
The day to day duties of this role will involve communicating with internal departments, namely Sales Reps regarding special order or customized items, pricing, availability and creation of specialized order and fulfillment
Work with customer on artwork proposals; Follows up on pending approvals
Obtains artwork and pricing approval from customer, requests written customer PO
Creates sales orders in CRM
Communicates shipping dates with customer and follows up proactively in case of shipping deviation.
Creates and releases sales orders in CRM (International orders)
In case of Red Flag failure, communicate solutions with customer.
Refer customer complaints to QA and other internal departments. Offer solutions to customer for product replacement.
Applies company standard price calculations for extra ordinary items and obtains Innovation approval prior to quoting customer.
Negotiates vendor cost if requested by Innovations.
Works with vendor, innovations and quality in regard to product label, technical specifications, documentation compliance, etc.
Maintains shipping schedules with vendor, considering all US and foreign holidays.
Creates new items in GP with VP SCM approval.
Enter purchase orders in GP according to customer PO.
Emails PO to vendor and logistics partner.
Assures order confirmation and product timelines are met.
Uploads new item CBP / FDA information into broker portal.
Receives POs into GP after warehouse scanning, approves vendor invoices.
Works with QA and DCs on speedy red flag process per company guidelines.
Resolves all QA initiated complaints with vendor and obtains credits / replacement as needed.
Communicates shipping schedules with logistics partners and the Logistics department
Assists with maintaining inbound shipping dashboards;Provide sales and purchasing statistics as requested.
Evaluate analytics and inform sales reps of positive and negative sales trends.
Communicate sales opportunities to sales reps based on customer needs as expressed during consultation
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Microsoft Office Suite
Detail Orientation---a stickler for the little details!
Microsoft Excel--need to know on an intermediate level
Highly customer service oriented.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organizational skills: must love organization!
Relevant Bachelor's Degree Desirable.
