Familiarity with IBM call center is added advantage

Candidate needs to have extensive implementation experience in ecommerce applications using Sterling order management.
Client facing or consulting experience highly preferred.

Typical Job Duties These duties are a representative example; position assignments may vary depending on the business needs of the department and organization. This position: * Develops and maintains policies, procedures, standards and agreements for projects and facilities operations. * Oversees maintenance services for City facilities, including aquatics mechanical systems. * Is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, supervising and managing facilities, including: * Capital improvements, repair, maintenance of all City indoor and outdoor facilities, parking structures, city buildings, etc. * Development and administration of preventative maintenance schedules, participation in long-range building and equipment replacement and maintenance planning, and development of program policies and procedures. * Overseeing and managing the operation and maintenance of energy management systems. * Coordination of the City's Energy Conservation Program. * Equipment maintenance records and prepares reports. Coordinates programs and services with other City departments.Recommends cost saving measures and strategies to improve operational efficiencies.Provides assistance with, and recommendations for, equipment acquisitions.Prepares and manages the annual division budget.Possesses knowledge of necessary laws, regulations and codes to be compliant and effectively oversee the work of others.Exercises discretion applying general policy and procedures, resolves organizational and service delivery issues, and assists with setting strategic direction and obtaining organizational goals.Directs, supervises and evaluates the work performance of assigned staff, including selection, training, disciplinary action and recommendations for termination.Purchases maintenance supplies, tools, equipment, and reconciles purchase orders with invoices.Serves as a liaison with City departments, external organizations, agencies, and City of Medford residents.Acquisition building, electrical, etc. permits as needed for projects.Regular OSHA training for crew members.Perform safety reviews of division space and equipment.Meet long-term goals and projects while maintaining day-to-day operations.Scope of assigned area will depend on departmental and/or citywide operational structure and is at the discretion of the Director.Upholds the values of the organization and provide outstanding internal and external customer service.Must have the ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace.Must be honest and truthful in all tasks and responsibilities.Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.Demonstrates regular, reliable and punctual attendance. Job Qualifications * Ideally, seven (7) years of management experience in Facilities Management or related field to include all aspects of building maintenance, including HVAC and electrical infrastructure; * Graduation from high school and/or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. * Current technical/professional knowledge of complex principles, methods, standards and techniques associated with the scope of work of a recognized profession, such as: * Evaluate overall building needs and develop maintenance programs to keep them operating in a safe manner. * Operations and maintenance of building utilities and automated systems management. * Methods, materials, and tools used in repair and maintenance of a building structure and the use of sophisticated testing equipment and tools necessary to troubleshoot mechanical problems, etc. Working knowledge of all trades and custodial services.Budget development and management.Possession of licenses and/or certifications associated with the assignment, such as, but not limited to: * Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) or Journeyman Electrical License * HVAC Certification Requires possession of a valid driver's license by date of hire. New employees establishing resident status in the State of Oregon must obtain an Oregon driver's license within 30 days (ORS 807.020 (1)).Requires completion of a background investigation to the satisfaction of the City.
